All-groups meeting 2023 February

Thursday 9 February 2023, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Join us for the first all-groups meeting of the year and catch up with what everyone has been up to.

Our guest speaker this month is Tarn Gilman, who as well as wrangling pests at Auckland Zoo moonlights as Urban Ark’s volunteer GIS specialist. For the last few months Tarn has been working on a digital trapping map showing the location and of traps and the trapping activity across the Urban Ark area. We are hoping this will become a powerful tool to help us all get a greater understanding of how our groups and faring compared to other groups across the region.

During the meeting we will:

  • Showcase Tarn’s work so far
  • Workshop ideas for improvements
  • Discuss how the power of the tool can be harnessed to focus our trapping activity
