Manu Tīoriori I Te Uru / Western Songbird Project has been battling the rats around Hakanoa, Sackville and Tutanekai streets since early 2019.
Previously known as Predator Free West Lynn, we have been active getting rat traps into people’s back gardens and restoring Hakanoa Reserve to the point where out actions are now being used as a model for other reserve restorations across Grey Lynn.
Our neighbours along the three streets are maintaining around 25 traps in thier back gardens. That’s great, but we’d like to at least double that number. Please get in touch if you’d like a free trap.
