We are a group of Westmere residents who have been weeding and planting either end of Lemington Reserve since 2014, with support from the Auckland Council.
We now weed the area, and do pest control – rats and possums – in the reserve. We work closely with Predator Free Westmere, and are now looking at how to expand our work along the Weona-Westmere Coastal Walkway, which needs weeding, planning and pest control.
